Licensing

SpecView software is licensed using a soft-license which is installed using codes. A soft-license can be moved to another computer using a 'Move' code to uninstall/reinstall it. USB License dongles are available by request for an additional charge.

Previous versions used hardware (USB or 25-pin parallel) license dongles.

Existing USB dongles will continue to work with SpecView Version 3.

25-pin parallel dongles will not work with Version 3.0 and above and will need to be exchanged for a soft-license (or USB dongle by special request). Bringing your license up-to-date with an Update Subscription includes this exchange.
